The roadmap was shaped by direct feedback from law firms and market surveys targeting midsize firms. It addresses the challenge many legal practices face in adopting AI effectively to improve legal work, business operations, and client service. Actionstep is also tackling concerns around workflow disruption, data security, and maintaining the quality of AI-generated outputs, especially when using disconnected AI and automation tools.

Actionstep’s product roadmap integrates automation, Agentic AI, and Generative AI into nearly every new feature. Users can choose whether to apply AI to specific tasks, ensuring flexibility and control. Key AI-driven features either available now or in development include:
