Medical Korea 2026: AI-Powered Global Healthcare and Medical Tourism
Medical Korea 2026, the 16th Global Healthcare & Medical Tourism Conference, will run March 19-22, 2026, at COEX in Seoul. Hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and organized by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), it will convene healthcare leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from around the world.
This year's theme - "AI-Powered Global Healthcare: Bringing the Future and the World Closer" - centers on how AI is changing care delivery, digital health operations, and cross-border medical services. Expect practical discussions, real use cases, and partnerships that move from talk to execution.
Why this matters for healthcare leaders
- AI is moving from pilots to deployment across imaging, triage, admin ops, and patient engagement. Knowing what actually works - and what creates risk - saves time and budget.
- Cross-border care and medical tourism are rebounding. Health systems want reliable referral channels, quality standards, and payment models that travel.
- Policy alignment matters. G2G dialogues can speed approvals, data-sharing, and patient safety frameworks that support international care.
