Bosch VP Calls on GITAM Graduates to Lead India’s AI Future

At the 16th graduation ceremony of GITAM Deemed to be University, Naveed Narayan, Vice President and Head of Bosch Global Software Technologies R&D Centre, urged the new graduates to take initiative in shaping an AI-driven India. The event saw 3,513 degrees awarded across disciplines such as engineering, pharmacy, architecture, science, law, humanities, and management.

Narayan highlighted that artificial intelligence represents the next major wave of opportunity. He emphasized that AI’s impact extends beyond engineers, stating professionals from all fields can apply AI to create meaningful change. He also pointed out the influence of factors like demographics, geopolitics, and digital commerce on India’s future development.

Leadership and Innovation in the AI Era

Addressing the graduates, Narayan said, “The world is looking to India for solutions to complex challenges. It is the responsibility of the youth to recognize this and contribute to building a new India.” His message was clear: graduates should focus on innovation and entrepreneurship rather than just job security.

Echoing this, GITAM’s President and Visakhapatnam MP, M Sribharath, stressed ethics and values as guiding principles for students. He encouraged them to become job creators and solution providers, reassuring that while AI might disrupt some jobs, it will open new avenues.

For those seeking to build or deepen AI expertise, platforms offering comprehensive training and courses can provide a solid foundation. Exploring latest AI courses helps bridge the gap between emerging technology and strategic implementation.
