ALITA Seeks Input on Legal AI and Legal Tech Ecosystem in APAC
The Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA) is inviting legal professionals in the region to participate in two important surveys. These surveys focus on the use and impact of legal AI, as well as mapping the legal tech companies operating across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) area.
ALITA’s goal is to gather insights from diverse legal practitioners, including those in private practice, barristers, and corporate legal departments. The information collected will contribute to a report set to be launched at TechLawFest 2025 in Singapore on September 10. The deadline to submit responses is August 15, though ALITA is exploring the possibility of extending this date.
ALITA-LexisNexis APAC Legal Tech & AI Survey
In partnership with LexisNexis, ALITA has rolled out a survey aiming to capture how legal professionals across at least eight APAC jurisdictions—such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Malaysia, and Japan—are currently using AI and legal technology.
The survey is anonymous and individual, meaning responses do not reflect the views of respondents’ organizations. Participation is encouraged from all levels and practice groups within firms and companies to ensure a broad range of perspectives.
As a token of appreciation, each participant will receive a complimentary 2-Day Conference Pass to attend the ALITA SOLIA Report 2025 launch at TechLawFest in Singapore, courtesy of the Singapore Academy of Law.

ALITA Legal Innovation & Technology Ecosystem Map
ALITA is also building a comprehensive Legal Innovation & Technology Ecosystem Map for APAC. This resource will help law firms, chambers, and corporate legal teams identify innovative organizations offering legal tech products and services in the region.
Law firms providing new services or products alongside traditional legal advice are encouraged to submit their details and logos. Organizations with multiple product or service brands should submit each separately. There is no cost to participate.
