Allianz taps Anthropic's Claude for scalable, compliant AI
Allianz has signed an enterprise deal with Anthropic to bring Claude models into its internal AI platform. The focus is simple: make employees faster, automate repeatable work with agents, and keep everything traceable for regulators.
The partnership centers on three areas: workforce empowerment, operations automation via agentic AI, and regulatory compliance. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

According to Allianz CEO Oliver Bäte, the company is taking a deliberate step to address AI risks in insurance, pointing to Anthropic's emphasis on safety and transparency.
