Meeting Singapore’s Cybersecurity Challenges
Organisations in Singapore face a tough cybersecurity environment marked by an evolving threat landscape, stricter regulations, and a shortage of skilled security professionals. Arctic Wolf addresses these issues with a unified, cloud-native platform that combines AI-powered threat detection and expert guidance, backed by 24/7 monitoring from one of the world’s largest Security Operations Centers.
Arctic Wolf’s partner-first approach has made it a top choice for over 2,200 solution providers globally. In Singapore, its first distributor is Ingram Micro, enabling resellers to offer differentiated security solutions with predictable revenue streams and strong support.
“Recent high-profile security breaches have increased awareness across Singapore. We are proud to be Arctic Wolf’s first distributor here, helping clients improve their security outcomes across the entire cybersecurity framework,” said Eunice Lau, Executive Managing Director, Singapore, Ingram Micro.
Singapore’s Cybersecurity Trends and Risks
Alongside the launch, Arctic Wolf released insights from its State of Cybersecurity: 2025 Trends Report, revealing shifts in Singapore’s cybersecurity landscape:
- AI tops concerns: IT and security leaders in Singapore now rank artificial intelligence above ransomware as the primary cyber risk.
- Breaches are frequent but transparency is improving: 70% of businesses disclosed breaches due to legal requirements, while 23% did so because of insurer or external demands.
- Common attack methods: Malware and business email compromise lead, followed by ransomware and data exfiltration.
- Security stack challenges: While firewalls and Network Traffic Analysis tools are generally well-regarded, 57% of respondents reported difficulties implementing some security components, and 33% cited inefficacy issues.
David Hayes, Director APAC at Arctic Wolf, highlighted the pressure on Singapore organisations to improve cybersecurity maturity. “Addressing AI-driven risks, breach disclosure, and ransomware requires more than point solutions. Organisations need a partner with broad expertise to deliver real outcomes,” he said.
