Brazil Launches Major AI Development Program at BRICS Forum
At the recent BRICS High Level Forum on AI, co-organized with China, Brazil introduced a new national artificial intelligence (AI) program focused on ethical, sustainable, and independent technology development. Henrique Miguel, representing Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, outlined the strategy to build advanced infrastructure and develop highly skilled professionals. "Our goal is to provide Brazil with advanced infrastructure, train highly skilled professionals and stimulate innovation in strategic sectors," said Miguel.
