Call for Papers: Seminar on "The Legal Landscape of Artificial Intelligence in the Global South"

Nawada Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, a law college in Nawada, Bihar (est. 1988), permanently affiliated with Magadh University, Bodhgaya and recognized by the Bar Council of India, invites submissions for a hybrid seminar on October 5-6, 2025.

The program will examine workable legal frameworks for AI across the Global South, their socioeconomic effects, and practical questions at the intersection of constitutional law, IP, human rights, and administrative accountability.   • Short paper: below 3,000 words (including footnotes).
  • Long paper: up to 5,000 words (including footnotes).
  • Title page must include: Title of the chapter/paper; Name, Designation, Organization/University/Institution; Email address (mandatory); Co-author details, if any.
  • Chapterization: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced; Main title: FULL CAPS, bold, centered, 12 pt; Sub-titles: sentence case, bold, 12 pt; Author names: small caps.
  • Other style guidelines: Heading 14 pt (center aligned), Subheadings 13 pt (center aligned), Body 12 pt (justified), Footnotes 10 pt (left aligned).
  • Citation: ILI/Bluebook 21st Edition. Reference: The Bluebook.
  • No abstract or full paper will be accepted after the deadline.
  • Registration is mandatory upon confirmation. Only registered participants may present or attend.
