Carahsoft and Credo AI Team Up to Scale AI Governance Across Government

Carahsoft to Offer Credo AI's Governance Platform to Federal and Public Sector Agencies

Carahsoft Technology has partnered with Credo AI to bring the company's AI governance platform to government buyers. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will act as Credo AI's Master Government Aggregator, extending access through established reseller partners and contract vehicles.

The move gives agencies a direct path to evaluate, procure, and operationalize AI with controls that support Federal guidance and oversight expectations.

How Carahsoft will deliver

Agencies can acquire Credo AI's platform, tools, and services through Carahsoft's ecosystem and multiple procurement paths, including:

  • NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V (SEWP V)
  • IT Enterprise Solutions - Software 2 (ITES-SW2)
  • NASPO ValuePoint
  • The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS)
  • OMNIA Partners

"Partnering with Carahsoft is a step forward in our mission to bring measurable, trustworthy AI to the Public Sector," said Alok Panigrahy, head of channel sales and partnerships at Credo AI. He added that the collaboration equips agencies to deploy AI responsibly, with transparency and auditable oversight aligned to Federal standards.

Michael Adams, senior sales director and program executive for AI solutions at Carahsoft, said adding Credo AI will help accelerate adoption, strengthen risk management, and drive measurable value. "We're committed to enabling our reseller partners and customers with the information and support needed to deploy these solutions effectively," Adams noted.

What Credo AI provides for agencies

Credo AI's platform focuses on governance, compliance, and risk management for AI. It gives program, legal, compliance, and technical teams a common system of record for oversight.

  • Audit AI systems and models across programs and vendors
  • Codify and enforce AI policies with evidence and approvals
  • Manage the AI lifecycle with continuous monitoring and controls
  • Inventory and track model usage across departments
  • Run fairness checks, bias detection, and transparency reporting

The approach aligns with frameworks and expectations such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and OMB's AI policy memo for agencies.

Why this matters for government buyers

Agencies face growing pressure to document risk controls, prove accountability, and show measurable results from AI investments. A governance platform helps teams move faster without skipping oversight, especially in use cases touching mission delivery, public services, or sensitive data.

For programs already piloting AI, Credo AI can centralize risk reviews, testing, and approvals. For teams just getting started, it can establish policy guardrails from day one.

  • Kovr.ai for AI-native cyber compliance automation
  • Reveille Software for AI-driven observability across mission-critical systems

Next steps for agency teams

  • Map current and planned AI use cases to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework
  • Review OMB guidance on governance and risk for AI programs (M-24-10)
  • Use existing vehicles (e.g., SEWP V, ITES-SW2, NASPO, TIPS, OMNIA) to request demos, pricing, and pilots
  • Stand up an AI governance working group with program, IT, legal, and privacy stakeholders
  • Start with one or two high-impact use cases and measure outcomes, risk posture, and audit readiness
