ClearMedi goes live with WellnessGPT agentic healthcare system in partnership with HeyDoc AI
ClearMedi Healthcare has activated AI agents across its hospital network in partnership with HeyDoc AI, launching the WellnessGPT Agentic Healthcare ecosystem. The Morgan Stanley-backed hospital chain is positioning this as a multi-site, operational rollout, not a pilot. The collaboration was set in motion after the DHN HealthTech Innovation Challenge 2025, where HeyDoc AI was a finalist, and later formalized to build India's first agent-powered multi-specialty hospital.
Cdr. Navneet Bali, Executive Director and Group CEO of ClearMedi Healthcare, shared, "To support our vision of healthcare for 'Everyone Everywhere Equally' we today become one of the world's first multispecialty chains to launch our agentic hospitals. This is a revolution in the making and ClearMedi Health 2.0 is spearheading it along with HeyDoc AI." He also gave a special mention to Vishnu Saxena, Founder & CEO of Digital Health News, as the fountainhead of the milestone.
What's live today
Two agents are already active across the ClearMedi network. They focus on routing demand and removing friction from first contact to clinical consultation.
- Booking Agent: Streamlines access to care by coordinating appointments and reducing back-and-forth for patients and front-desk teams.
- Patient Channeling Agent: Applies symptoms-to-specialty logic to guide patients to the right clinical expertise, improving first-time routing.
What's coming next
Over the next few weeks, ClearMedi plans to roll out additional agents for patient care workflows, follow-up and adherence, pharmacy coordination, and insurance processes. The intent is to shift routine operational load from clinicians and administrators while keeping human oversight in place for every step.
Mrinal Tyagi, Founder of HeyDoc AI, said, "ClearMedi x HeyDoc AI marks a watershed moment - we're launching India's first agent-powered multi-specialty hospital to deliver continuous, personalized care at scale with WellnessGPT agents."
Why this matters for hospital teams
- Clinicians: Less administrative back-and-forth, cleaner triage, and better prepared visits. Time and attention go where they matter.
- Operations: Standardized booking rules, clear escalation paths, and better visibility into capacity and wait times.
- IT and Data: Clear integration points with HIS/EMR, monitoring of agent behavior, and audit logs to support safety and compliance.
- Patients: Simpler entry into the system, faster routing to the right specialty, fewer misdirected visits.
Implementation notes to watch
- Human-in-the-loop: Maintain clinical oversight, review queues, and documented fallback paths for exceptions.
- Clinical safety: Align symptoms-to-specialty rules with triage policies; regularly review edge cases and near-misses.
- Privacy and security: Ensure consent handling, PHI safeguards, and clear data retention policies.
- Integration: Connect to scheduling, EMR/HIS, pharmacy, and insurance systems with minimal disruption to existing workflows.
- Change management: Train frontline teams, set expectations, and communicate how escalation works.
- Metrics: Track time-to-appointment, first-contact resolution, reroute rate, no-show reduction, specialty mix accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

The rollout is multi-site and iterative. ClearMedi expects to bring more agents online across patient care, follow-up, pharmacy, and insurance as they validate performance and safety in production environments.
