Concord Township launches free AI education programs for residents
Concord Township Recreation Department will offer two free programs to help residents understand artificial intelligence, starting with a one-session seminar on March 26.
"AI: The Promise and the Peril" begins at 6:30 p.m. and covers AI history, how these systems work, and potential risks. The presentation uses visual materials designed for all experience levels.
The township then launches a four-week course starting April 2. "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI): Practical Understanding for Everyday Life" meets Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. through April 23.
The four-week program focuses on hands-on learning. Participants will see how AI operates in daily life and learn to use AI tools for creativity, productivity, and personal planning.
Residents can register by contacting Concord Township Recreation Department at 440-639-4650. Both programs are free.
For educators looking to incorporate AI literacy into professional development, resources on AI for Education and AI Productivity Courses offer structured training options.
