Consilio Expands Aurora Legal AI Suite with Verity Review and Legal Operations Intelligence

March 2, 2026 - Consilio expanded its Aurora Legal AI Suite with two additions built to move AI from pilots into day-to-day legal work: Aurora Verity Review and Legal Operations Intelligence. More than 10,000 users now log into Aurora daily, signaling that AI is shifting from experiments to operational reality.

What's new

  • Aurora Verity Review: a full-featured document review platform built for AI-native workflows, tightly integrated with Aurora's AI intelligence layer.
  • Legal Operations Intelligence: a family of AI-powered tools that address operational work around litigation, investigations, and compliance.

Consilio's upcoming 2026 Global Survey Report, The Age of the Innovation Orchestrator, points to rising pressure on legal leaders to operationalize AI while maintaining governance, trust, and accountability. Aurora is increasingly serving as that orchestration layer across matters.

Aurora Verity Review: review without the swivel-chair

Verity Review sits alongside AI Investigate, AI Review, AI PrivGen, AI PrivDetect, and TrueLaw narrative generation to connect investigation, analysis, and review. Insight produced upstream flows into structured, defensible work product downstream - without bouncing between disconnected tools.

"As AI moves from experimentation to day-to-day operation, our clients are under pressure to apply it within their workflows without giving up governance, trust, or control," said Meredith Kildow, President, Consilio. "Verity Review is built to do exactly that. It connects directly to Aurora's DataCore and AI toolset, so data refined upstream is promoted seamlessly into review, and teams work faster without losing visibility or governance."

Legal Operations Intelligence: AI where legal work actually happens

Building on adoption of Aurora's eDiscovery Intelligence Suite, Legal Operations Intelligence applies the same guided AI approach to operational work surrounding disputes, investigations, and compliance. It runs on the same private-cloud infrastructure and governance layer.

"Legal teams are being asked to do more with less - far beyond traditional eDiscovery," said Raj Chandrasekar, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, Consilio. "By running Legal Operations Intelligence on the same private-cloud infrastructure and governance layer as our eDiscovery Intelligence Suite, we deliver integrated solutions, consistent security, and guided AI across workflows - without the cost and complexity of piecing together point solutions."

  • PII Intelligence: automates detection and redaction across documents, images, and handwriting.
  • Deposition Intelligence: converts transcripts into structured, citable summaries.
  • Extract Intelligence: turns unstructured legal documents into structured data.
  • Protocol Intelligence: breaks complex protocols into expert-ready deposition questions.
  • Tariff Intelligence: decision support for trade compliance and tariff audits.
  • Subpoena Intelligence: streamlines response from intake through payment.

Several of these capabilities are already in active client testing through Consilio Labs, the company's global innovation incubator spanning six regions. The suite also incorporates live testimony intelligence via Consilio's partnership with Prevail. Prevail's CheckMate platform delivers real-time AI-powered verification during depositions, extending Aurora into deposition preparation and analysis.

"I believe in the Power of And over the Tyranny of Or, and at this stage of AI development, no client should be forced to make a single choice in the race," said Andy Macdonald, CEO, Consilio. "This expansion adds more best-of-breed AI, more review options, and more operational control to what clients already find in Aurora and our expert teams, helping them turn new advances across the ecosystem into day-to-day operations."

Why this matters for legal leaders

  • Operational AI with controls: AI sits inside governed workflows, not off to the side.
  • End-to-end continuity: investigation insight flows directly into defensible review work product.
  • Less context switching: fewer tools to juggle, more time on substance.
  • Built for scale: daily active use across matters, not a shelfware feature set.

Practical steps to consider

  • Map high-friction tasks across discovery and legal ops (PII review, subpoenas, protocol prep). Target them first for Verity Review and Legal Operations Intelligence.
  • Align with infosec on certifications and data handling. Aurora operates on a private-cloud layer and Consilio maintains ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
  • Run a time-boxed pilot that measures cycle time, quality, and auditability - not just cost.
  • Upskill review teams and paralegals to work with AI-native workflows. See AI for Legal for foundational training paths.

Adoption and availability

Since launching at Legalweek 2025, Aurora has been deployed across the majority of Consilio's active matters. Aurora Portal provides unified matter visibility, cross-workflow coordination, real-time project transparency, and centralized data governance.

Consilio also launched Consilio Labs to rapidly prototype client-driven capabilities inside the Aurora architecture. Unlike traditional "feature drops," these tools are tested and refined on complex, high-stakes client work.

Consilio will showcase new Aurora capabilities at Legalweek 2026 in New York - Booth 100 (first on the left entering the expo hall) and its client lounge in the 4th floor pavilion.
