Deep Fusion reveals new creative AI tools for production and post

Deep Fusion Films' tech arm, Deep Fusion Technologies, has introduced three AI tools built for TV and film teams: Scriptreadr, Transcriptr, and BedRock. The goal is clear-cut the busywork, speed up iteration, and keep creative control in human hands.

They join the company's existing tools Verbl (AI-supported transcription, translation, and dubbing) and Weavr (automation for archive documentary workflows), rounding out a practical toolkit for editorial, audio, and delivery.

Scriptreadr: an instant table read, any time

Scriptreadr is a subscription service that turns your script into an audio file with fully voiced characters and narration. Upload the draft, download a clean listenable read-no scheduling, no temp casting.

  • Use it for quick table reads, punch-up sessions, animatics, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Make character names consistent and trim dense parentheticals for clearer voices.
  • Great for fast alt lines and pacing checks before you bring actors in.

Transcriptr: production scripts in minutes, not days

Transcriptr generates the production scripts required by broadcasters and streamers during post. It targets a task that can take three days and compresses it down to minutes.

It's currently seeking beta testers, with an official launch planned for early 2026.

  • Drop it in after picture lock or late offline to accelerate compliance, notes, and delivery.
  • Standardize show style guides and naming conventions to keep outputs consistent.
  • Track time saved across episodes to quantify the impact on your schedule and budget.

BedRock: automatic atmos in three layers

BedRock analyzes any video and generates bespoke atmospheric audio across three layers: foreground, mid-ground, and background. Think of it as a fast foundation for temp mixes or a starting point for sound design.

It's also in beta ahead of a 2026 launch.

  • Use it to build screenings, speed up editorial sound passes, and fill gaps in location audio.
  • Keep dialog clarity first: ride levels so foreground atmos never competes with speech.
  • Hand the layered output to sound teams as structured material for final design.

Part of a growing toolkit

All three tools were built by Deep Fusion Technologies, launched earlier this year. Alongside Verbl and Weavr, the suite covers early reads, post paperwork, and audio groundwork-core friction points in production cycles.

Benjamin Field, co-founder and director of Deep Fusion Films, said: "We're immensely proud to present our new tools for the trade, which have been developed as a direct response to the demands of a new creative world. We have the intel, flexibility, production nous and speed-to-market to iterate alongside our partners in this era of remarkable change.

"These tools and services bring time-saving efficiencies just at the moment when costs are under ever more relentless scrutiny. Most importantly, these tools are designed not to replace human creativity, but to unlock it."

How creatives can plug these in now

  • Run Scriptreadr on your next draft and compare pacing notes against your current table-read process.
  • Pilot Transcriptr on a locked episode and measure the time saved against your usual post schedule.
  • Test BedRock on a scene with thin location sound, then hand the layered atmos to your mixer for feedback.
  • Set guidelines: naming conventions, loudness targets, and review checkpoints so outputs stay consistent.
