Delhi Government Launches 75 AI-Enabled CM Shree Schools

The Delhi government is set to upgrade its educational infrastructure by establishing 75 CM Shree schools equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) labs and modern technology. This initiative was announced by Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood during a teachers' felicitation ceremony organized by the Child Education Society at Bal Bharti School.

Modernizing Government Schools with Technology

The new CM Shree schools will feature language labs, AI-enabled smart classrooms, digital attendance systems, science laboratories, and interactive panels. According to the minister, integrating AI into education will support the intellectual and emotional growth of students, helping government schools compete with private institutions within two to three years.

"Technology cannot be ignored. If used meaningfully, artificial intelligence can help create a more advanced society," Sood said.

Recognizing Teacher Contributions

At the event, the minister praised Padma Shri awardee Anand Kumar, known for the "Super 30" program, calling his work a "living example" of teachers' dedication. Sood emphasized that the dream of a developed India depends heavily on the hard work and guidance of educators.

Supporting Parents Through Fee Regulation

Sood also addressed the recently enforced Fee Regulation Law, underlining its role in protecting the interests of middle-class parents. He clarified that both private and government schools are valued equally by the government and that there is no conflict with private education institutions.

Equal Access to Quality Education

With approximately 18 lakh students enrolled in government schools and a similar number in private schools across Delhi, the government’s goal is clear: every child should have access to world-class education and equal opportunities, regardless of the type of school.

For government employees interested in the latest educational technology trends, understanding AI's role in classrooms will be increasingly important. To explore AI courses and training, consider visiting Complete AI Training for practical learning paths.
