EveryPlate's new AI-led campaign makes dinner feel human again
EveryPlate has launched an AI-driven campaign with Game Creative, built under its "Get Stuck In" platform. The idea is simple: personify AI as the busiest person on the planet-smart, overbooked, and still stuck on what to eat for dinner. It's a human truth wrapped in a meta execution, built to entertain and move meal kits.
Chloe Painter, Director of Brand Marketing at EveryPlate, said, "EveryPlate is about removing friction from everyday life, especially at dinnertime. This idea taps directly into that truth. By working hand-in-hand with GAME and our in-house teams, we've been able to bring the 'Get Stuck In' platform to life in a way that feels culturally relevant, distinctive, and unmistakably EveryPlate."
The creative swing: let AI be obviously AI
AI isn't hidden here - it's the star and part of the production team. The work plays up AI's quirks instead of sanding them off, using humor to keep the brand relatable and memorable.
Dan Beaumont, Founder of Game Creative, said, "AI can write poems, plan holidays, and answer just about anything you throw at it, but it still can't solve the daily dinner dilemma. That tension was too good to ignore. There's something inherently funny about the world's smartest and busiest 'person' being short on time and stuck on what to eat."
Execution details creatives will care about
The campaign runs across social, digital, and content channels. AI both appears in the work and generates creative elements-scripts, characters, and visual touches-guided by a clear brand voice.
Steve Jackson from Jacko Jacko & Jacko explained, "While everyone else is using AI to perfect things, cut costs and take shortcuts, we saw an opportunity to personify it⦠Instead of smoothing everything out completely, we deliberately let AI look, act and feel like AI, keeping a few of the natural flaws and hiccups in its style and language to help it cut through."
Why this matters for creatives
- Lead with a human truth. Tech is the setup; dinner anxiety is the punchline.
- Use imperfection as a feature. Small glitches signal honesty and increase recall.
- Make the meta payoff clear. If AI can't pick dinner, EveryPlate will.
- Give AI a lane. Provide a tight script, tone, and scenarios-then let it riff.
Idea starters you can steal
- Personify complex tools as characters with real-world flaws. It's disarming and sticky.
- Mix human-written guardrails with AI-generated variants to find surprising angles fast.
- Keep technical language out of consumer-facing work. Save the specs for your case study.
- Ship across formats where micro-imperfections read as humor (Reels, Shorts, Stories).
EveryPlate is part of the HelloFresh Group and continues to market the brand with a clear promise: make dinner simpler without overthinking it. For the curious, you can explore the brand at EveryPlate.
