Former Boeing CCO Joins AI Risk Intelligence Firm Alethea

Brian Besanceney, previously chief communications officer at Boeing, has taken on a new role as principal advisor at Alethea, an AI company specializing in risk intelligence. Besanceney’s extensive background includes leadership positions in communications and public affairs at Walmart, The Walt Disney Company, and key roles within the White House during the George W. Bush administration. He also served as communications director for former Representative and Senator Rob Portman.

Alethea uses a multi-channel AI platform to identify and combat disinformation narratives circulating across the internet. Besanceney will offer strategic guidance as the company works to scale its AI technology, broaden its communications mitigation services, and deepen its strategic partnerships.

Lisa Kaplan, Alethea’s founder and CEO, noted that Besanceney’s experience in communications and reputation management at high levels across both private and government sectors will be invaluable as the company grows.
