Edge Marketing appoints Luke Gosha to lead AI-driven search
Posted on 16 February 2026
Edge Marketing has appointed international AI and SEO specialist Luke Gosha as Head of Search & AI Strategy, effective immediately. The Gold Coast agency is doubling down on AI-led search as brand discovery moves across search engines and large language models.
Why this hire matters for marketers
Search isn't just blue links anymore. Buyers ask questions across engines, AI overviews, and chat interfaces-and they expect confident, fast answers.
For marketers, that means your content, data, and brand signals must be structured to win visibility in both traditional SERPs and AI-generated responses. Even Google has been explicit about this direction with its work on generative search experiences.

Gosha's remit at Edge
In this newly created role, Gosha will set the agency's SEO and AI agenda and translate proven global practice into revenue outcomes for Australian brands. He will work across clients and teams to make AI-led search a reliable growth lever-not a side experiment.
- Identify growth opportunities emerging from AI-influenced discovery
- Embed advanced SEO and AI methodologies into client strategies
- Mentor senior search specialists to scale execution and impact
Experience built in a high-pressure market
Gosha joins Edge from London-based StrategiQ, where he served as Head of Search & AI. He brings more than a decade across agency and in-house roles, spanning technical SEO, commercial leadership, and service innovation in one of the most competitive SEO markets.
Edge CEO on the opportunity
Edge CEO and Director Rohan Dwyer called the appointment a clear, commercial bet.
"At Edge, we believe AI-driven search represents one of the most significant commercial opportunities the industry has seen in decades. This is a senior, business-critical role at the centre of how Edge will safeguard existing client performance, but to also actively help our clients gain competitive advantage by applying proven AI-led search. We see this shift as a massive opportunity for businesses that are prepared to lead."
"Our global search was about finding someone who has already succeeded in a market where AI-led search is advanced, highly competitive and commercially proven. Luke brings that experience, along with the ability to translate it into practical, measurable outcomes for Australian clients."
From London to Burleigh Heads
Based at Edge's Burleigh Heads head office and reporting directly to Dwyer, Gosha will convert AI and search trends into outcomes that matter: qualified traffic, lead quality, contribution to revenue, and measurement clarity.
Dwyer added: "Luke stood out immediately for his growth mindset. He understands how to convert complexity into opportunity, and that capability will be invaluable for our clients as search continues to evolve. Above all, we were looking for a great human. Luke embodies the values-driven culture we care deeply about at Edge, and we're excited about what this means for our clients and our team."
Gosha said: "I'm looking forward to bringing my skills, expertise and character to Edge, that creates a genuine competitive advantage for Edge's clients. Edge has a clear vision for how AI can be used to drive growth, not just efficiency, and I'm excited to work with a team that is focused on long-term client outcomes."
