London’s Genie Joins Forces with US-Based DOSS to Enhance E-Commerce Operations

Genie, a London-based AI-powered operations platform for e-commerce brands, is now part of DOSS, an AI-native Adaptive Resource Planning (ARP) company. Genie was built to simplify and scale key workflows like inventory management, purchase orders, and forecasting, specifically for fast-growing Shopify brands.

By mid-2025, Genie supported over 300 brands managing $18 million (€15.3 million) in monthly purchase orders. This encompassed nearly 500,000 SKUs and around 20,000 suppliers. As Genie integrates into DOSS, the platform will sunset on August 31, 2025, with customers retaining free access until then. Charges were stopped on July 10, 2025, and annual plan customers will be refunded for unused months.

Leadership and Partnership Growth

Following the acquisition, Sebastiaan Debrouwere, Founder & CEO of Genie, joins DOSS as Head of Partnerships & Ecosystem. He shares that the partnership grew from a shared vision and values discovered during early collaboration with DOSS founders Wiley Jones and Arnav Mishra.

Working with customers transitioning from Genie to DOSS revealed how well the two platforms complement each other. Clients benefited from enhanced inventory management across multiple locations, deeper accounting integrations, and more personalized workflows.

DOSS: Streamlining Operations with Adaptive Resource Planning

DOSS, founded by Wiley Jones and Arnav Mishra, offers DossARP—a lightweight ERP and data platform designed to fit diverse business needs. It helps teams unify fragmented workflows across orders, inventory, procurement, production, and finance without disrupting existing processes.

DOSS supports companies shifting from spreadsheets or juggling multiple systems, providing operational clarity and flexibility. The acquisition aligns with DOSS’s recent $18 million Series A funding and its focus on building strong partnerships to accelerate customer success.

  • Genie’s platform sunset date: August 31, 2025
  • Genie’s managed monthly purchase orders: $18 million (€15.3 million)
  • Brands supported by Genie: 300+
  • DOSS Series A funding: $18 million (€15.3 million)

Operations teams managing e-commerce workflows can expect to benefit from this integration through improved toolsets that streamline complex processes like inventory and order management across multiple channels.
