Greenway Health Launches Novare, an EHR Built Around AI From the Ground Up
Greenway Health debuted Novare, a clinical and revenue cycle platform designed for ambulatory care practices. The platform uses agentic AI built into its core rather than layered on top of legacy systems. The company engaged KNB Communications to handle the product launch strategy.
The name Novare derives from Latin for "to make new." Greenway built the platform from scratch for AI-first operation, a departure from the incremental updates that define most EHR vendors.
"Healthcare providers don't need another workaround, they need technology that truly works for them," said Richard Atkin, Greenway's CEO. "With Novare, we're fundamentally rethinking the EHR, using advanced AI to reduce administrative burden and allowing clinicians to spend more time on patient care."
What the Platform Claims to Deliver
Early results from a 10-provider pilot practice show three measurable outcomes:
- 14,000 hours per year saved on EHR interaction, freeing clinicians for patient time
- 6,000 additional patient visits per year in practice capacity
- Up to $1 million in annual revenue cycle improvements
These figures come from a practice with $4.6M in annual revenue and 46,000 to 48,000 encounters per year. Greenway did not provide results from larger or smaller practices.
Industry Recognition and Communications Strategy
KLAS Research named Greenway "Most Improved Physician Practice Solution 2026." The company plans to amplify awareness through earned media, brand refinement, and presence at industry events like HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition.
Chintan Shah, president of KNB Communications, said the launch represents more than a product update. "Greenway has reshaped expectations for what an EHR can be," Shah said. "We're proud to serve as a strategic collaborator, helping bring this vision to life and supporting Greenway's continued momentum in the market."
The communications strategy reflects a broader shift in how healthcare vendors position AI capabilities. Rather than announcing features, vendors now frame AI as foundational to product design-a positioning that carries weight with practices struggling with administrative overhead.
