Insight Health Raises $11 Million for AI Administrative Platform
Insight Health, an AI clinical agent platform, closed an $11 million Series A funding round led by Standard Capital to address administrative costs that now exceed $1 trillion annually across U.S. healthcare systems.
The company deploys voice and chat-based AI agents to handle patient intake, referral processing, appointment scheduling, and real-time clinical documentation. The platform also collects medical histories and triage information directly from patients through voice or text interactions.
Clinicians currently spend roughly one-third of their time on non-clinical tasks, a major driver of burnout and reduced patient access. Insight Health's approach consolidates fragmented staffing models into a unified AI layer that operates across front-desk, intake, and documentation functions.
Early Adoption and Results
Healthcare organizations including The Oregon Clinic, Pacific Sports & Spine, Inland Neurosurgery, Coastal Health, and Santiam Hospital have adopted the platform. Insight Health reports the system has completed more than 3 million autonomous patient interactions and helped partners save more than $50 million in administrative costs while freeing hundreds of thousands of staff hours monthly.
Pear VC, Kindred Ventures, Eudemian, ElevenLabs, and 43 also participated in the Series A round.
What's Next
Insight Health plans to expand product development and scale partnerships with healthcare providers across the country as demand for AI agents and automation in healthcare accelerates.
Dr. Tammy De La Melena, a breast surgical oncologist, said the platform's real-time documentation and post-procedure triage tools have reduced administrative work for her staff. "Before partnering with Insight Health, coordinating a single new patient required a team of specialists just to manage documents, authorizations, and intake," she said.
