Roslan Ariffin, the director of IPPTAR, emphasized that understanding and using AI tools is essential for media professionals to stay competitive and relevant. During the recent 'SMART Journalism Course: AI Tools for Faster, Smarter Reporting' held in Kota Kinabalu, 25 media practitioners from various Sabah news agencies completed a three-day training session. Roslan highlighted that the knowledge gained from this course should improve the quality and reach of news delivered to the public.
