JAGGAER's AI Co-Pilot Sets a New Standard for Procurement
At its recent REV2025 conference held at Miami's Turnberry Resort, JAGGAER introduced a bold step forward for procurement professionals. The event highlighted their advanced AI strategy and showcased key innovations shaping the industry’s future.
JAI: Elevating Procurement Operations
The highlight of REV2025 was JAI, JAGGAER's AI orchestrator, positioned as a strategic co-pilot for procurement teams. Unlike traditional chatbots, JAI offers conversational Q&A, detects anomalies in purchase orders and invoices, generates AI-driven content, and manages workflows—all within the JAGGAER One platform.
JAI is designed to evolve: starting as an assistant, it will advance to a co-pilot providing real-time insights, spotting unusual trends, and offering actionable recommendations in sourcing, contracting, and supplier management. Eventually, it aims to reach an autopilot stage that handles complex workflows autonomously, while maintaining a "Human in the Loop" approach to preserve expert oversight.
Focused Leadership and Strategy
CEO Andrew Roszko outlined JAGGAER’s strategic pillars—listening closely to customers, empowering employees, executing with accountability, and driving innovation through product development and acquisitions. Managing over US$3 trillion in spend, JAGGAER leverages global partnerships to enhance innovation and talent cultivation.
Chief Digital & AI Officer Gopinath Polavarapu and Chief Product Officer Jon Lawrence emphasized JAI’s capacity for continuous improvement through rapid iterations and close collaboration with customers, ensuring AI solutions stay aligned with real-world procurement needs.
Practical AI Adoption Insights
Patrick Reymann from IDC provided a grounded perspective on AI’s role in procurement, cautioning against hype and urging professionals to prepare for significant changes—estimating 70% of procurement roles will be impacted within three years.
Jon Lawrence shared a clear roadmap focusing on supplier intelligence, source-to-contract, and procure-to-pay processes. He stressed that AI must be integrated deeply, not as an afterthought. New features such as "Smart Quote" and AI-driven account code suggestions underline this approach.
VP of Product Management Alastair McMullan introduced the Guided Intake Experience in version 25.3. This feature simplifies procurement workflows for non-experts, democratizing procurement capabilities across organizations.
Highlighting Customer Success
REV2025 celebrated current achievements with awards in AI decision-making, strategic procurement elevation, ESG risk management, compliance, and supplier intelligence innovation. These recognitions reflect JAGGAER’s commitment to advancing procurement through AI.
Recognizing Industry Leadership
The “Pros to Know” awards honoured 16 procurement and supply chain leaders for their contributions to innovation. Categories included Procure-to-Pay Achievement, Supply Chain Resilience, AI-Driven Procurement Excellence, Source-to-Contract Achievement, and ESG Industry Leadership.
Looking Ahead
The conference closed with a focus on client excitement and ongoing development. CEO Andrew Roszko and Chief Revenue Officer Joe Elliott highlighted plans to create industry-specific AI agents, such as BOM-based tools for cost analysis, moving away from one-size-fits-all solutions.
JAGGAER’s leadership reiterated their commitment to listening to customers and accelerating innovation. With JAI at the forefront, procurement is set to become more intelligent, collaborative, and strategically aligned.
