JSS Academy Partners with Google on AI-Driven Healthcare Research
JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) in Mysuru has become a significant collaborator in an artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare project led by Google Research. This partnership has produced important findings published in Nature, a leading scientific journal.
The project centers on the development of the Articulate Medical Intelligence Explorer (AMIE), an AI system created by Google Research to support and improve diagnostic accuracy and patient-physician interactions. Researchers evaluated AMIE by comparing its performance with trained primary care physicians during text-based consultations across healthcare settings in Canada, the UK, and India.
