Kaseya Opens Silicon Valley R&D Hub for AI and Automation Work
Kaseya has opened a research and development office in Silicon Valley to accelerate development of AI-driven products and agentic automation capabilities. The move reflects the company's strategy to tap engineering talent concentrated in the region and expand its global engineering organization.
Pratik Wadher, Kaseya's Chief Technology Officer, said customer demand is driving the investment. "Our customers are under increasing pressure to do more with less, and AI-powered automation is becoming essential to how they operate," Wadher said.
Practical AI, Not Hype
Kaseya is positioning the expansion around what it calls a practical approach to AI agents and automation. The focus is on automating high-volume tasks and reducing operational complexity for customers.
The company's existing AI work includes screenshot verification features in Datto SIRIS and Datto ALTO products, designed to reduce false positives and improve efficiency for managed service providers.
What's in Development
Kaseya is preparing to launch a fully integrated cyber resilience platform that consolidates functions currently spread across multiple tools. The product is intended to simplify how customers protect, manage and recover critical data.
Market Context
The expansion carries particular relevance for MSPs and businesses facing pressure to streamline operations. Kaseya's platform serves more than 50,000 organizations globally, providing infrastructure management, security, data protection and operational workflow tools.
The Silicon Valley office will feed into Kaseya's product roadmap across markets including Australia. Kaseya is headquartered in Miami.
