KBIZ Opens Applications for 20th AMP: AI-First Leadership for SME Executives

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises (KBIZ) is accepting applications for the 20th class of its KBIZ AMP, starting on the 2nd. The program is built for leaders who need clear, executive-level thinking on AI and strategy-not theory for theory's sake.

Eligible applicants include CEOs and executives of small and medium-sized businesses, leaders from related institutions and organizations, senior public officials, and professionals across politics, media, broadcasting, taxation, labor, accounting, law, and finance.

Schedule and Format

  • Start date: April 20
  • Time: Monday evenings
  • Location: KBIZ headquarters, Yeouido, Seoul

Evening sessions make the program workable for busy operators while keeping focus on strategic depth.

What's New in the 20th Cohort

  • AI-first curriculum: A broader slate of AI programs focused on CEO decision-making and organizational execution.
  • Strategy module expansion: The "strategic thinking and convergence" track grows by 66% from last year to help leaders align AI opportunities with mid- to long-term plans.
  • Six new AI-related fields: Coverage spans policy, humanities, management, security, and additional cross-functional topics essential to SME operations.

Faculty Lineup

Lectures and discussions will be led by leading experts in AI, economics, organizations, and leadership, including Choi Jae-bung (Sungkyunkwan University), Han Sang-gi (Tech Frontier), Yoo Young-man (Hanyang University), Cho Seong-jun (Seoul National University), Park Jeong-ho (Myongji University), and Jang Hang-bae (Chung-Ang University).

Why This Matters for Executives and Strategy

  • Make AI actionable: Move from pilots to measurable outcomes across cost, speed, and growth.
  • Strengthen decision clarity: Use structured strategy frameworks to prioritize AI bets and kill distractions.
  • Future-proof operations: Address policy, security, and talent implications before they become bottlenecks.

Who Should Apply

  • SME CEOs and executive teams planning AI initiatives or business model shifts
  • Leaders from related institutions and organizations working with SMEs
  • Senior public officials and sector experts in media, tax, labor, accounting, law, and finance
