Head of Operations (Singapore) — Rida

Rida is building an AI-powered platform that manages complex, SOP-driven deliveries for enterprises across healthcare, F&B, and other sectors. The platform combines autonomous AI agents, route optimization, WhatsApp-based workflows, custom driver fleets, and human support to handle deliveries at scale.

The Role

As Rida’s Head of Operations, you'll own client operations, turning client SOPs into repeatable processes, maintaining strong SLA performance, and scaling a hybrid team that operates both on-site and offshore. This role requires hands-on involvement, data analysis, and close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to improve automation and optimize processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Own client operations & service excellence: Codify and refine SOPs, ensure SLAs are met consistently, and lead smooth client onboarding and steady-state service.
  • Lead and execute: Manage operations teams against KPIs and step in directly to resolve issues when necessary.
  • Run fleet & driver performance: Grow and optimize fleets for productivity and profitability, maintain driver standards, and support contractor agreements.
  • Be data-driven: Build and own dashboards, track key metrics like on-time percentage, first-attempt success, and cost per drop to drive improvements.
  • Improve margins & scope: Understand cost and profit drivers, tighten operations, and identify upsell or expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Product/Engineering: Translate frontline challenges into actionable requirements and advocate for automation and clean data flows.
  • Hire, coach, and set culture: Build an accountable team with clear training playbooks, and manage offshore back-office functions.
  • Handle start-up extras: Ensure compliance with regulations like PDPA and WSH, assist with contract reviews, and support go-to-market and upsell efforts.

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)

  • A live SOP library with a QA loop for top accounts and clear incident management playbooks.
  • Operations dashboards tracking key metrics with weekly reviews and follow-up actions.
  • Improved fleet productivity, fewer escalations, and seamless collaboration with Product/Engineering on automation projects.

What You Bring

  • Operations leadership experience (3+ years): Background in logistics, tech-enabled services, or marketplace operations with hands-on SLA management.
  • Analytical skills: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, comfort with metrics and funnel analysis; SQL knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and people skills: Ability to make clear decisions, write crisply, and stay calm during live operations.
  • Financial awareness: Understanding unit economics, budgets, and how operational changes impact margins.
  • Compliance mindset: Respect for regulated workflows and secure handling of data in daily operations.
