LightYX Secures $11 Million to Scale Precision Laser Projection for Construction Sites
LightYX raised $11M to scale its laser projection technology that projects construction plans with sub-2mm accuracy. This boosts precision and speed on job sites.

LightYX Secures $11 Million to Scale Precision Laser Technology in Construction
Israeli construction technology firm LightYX recently completed an $11 million Series A funding round led by NOVA by Saint-Gobain, the venture arm of a global leader in sustainable construction. The round also included investments from Yachad Capital Partners, Shibumi International, Somersault Ventures, and private investors connected to the real estate and construction sectors in Israel and abroad.
Along with $3.3 million in grants from the Israel Innovation Authority, LightYX now has a solid financial base to accelerate growth and expand its market reach internationally.
Precision Projection Technology Changing On-Site Layouts
LightYX has developed a proprietary electro-optical system that projects construction plans directly onto surfaces at the job site with sub-two-millimeter accuracy. This technology allows workers to follow layouts on floors, ceilings, and walls with exceptional precision, significantly reducing errors and rework.
This level of accuracy is critical for trades like drywall and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) installations, where small deviations can lead to costly delays. By replacing manual methods like chalk lines and tape measures, the system helps teams move more quickly through the final construction phases while maintaining quality and compliance.
Adaptive System Responds to Real-Time Site Conditions
What sets LightYX apart is its system’s ability to continuously scan the environment and adjust projections in real time. This ensures that the digital plans remain accurate and actionable even as conditions on site change, bridging the gap between design intent and physical execution.
Proven Success and Strong Industry Relationships
LightYX’s technology has been deployed on hundreds of projects across the United States, covering over 25 million square feet of layout work. The company has cultivated strong partnerships with contractors, subcontractors, and distributors, especially in sectors where precision and speed are essential.
These collaborations have validated the technology’s effectiveness in real-world applications and positioned LightYX for broader adoption.
Plans for Growth and Market Expansion
With fresh capital, LightYX is preparing to expand its U.S. presence, deepen existing customer relationships, and enter European markets. Product development will focus on enhancing system capabilities and integrating it more closely with construction workflows.
The company aims to more than triple its growth by 2026, reflecting the size of the opportunity and confidence in execution.
Advancing Digitization and Automation in Construction
The construction industry faces increasing pressure to deliver projects faster, more efficiently, and with fewer errors. Technologies like LightYX’s laser projection system are becoming vital tools to meet these demands.
By turning complex plans into clear, actionable guidance, LightYX empowers workers to build with greater accuracy and speed. Its growing portfolio of patents and proven track record position the company as a leader in construction technology innovation.
