GREÏ Raises €650k to Bring AI Monitoring to Industrial and Retail Sites

GREÏ, a DeepTech startup based in Kaunas, has secured €650k in pre-Seed funding to advance its AI-driven operational intelligence platform. This platform helps businesses with large physical sites detect risks and inefficiencies in real time, improving safety and operational effectiveness.

The investment, led by Baltic VC fund FIRSTPICK, will support product development, team growth, and expansion into European markets. This marks a key milestone as GREÏ shifts focus from development to real-world application.

Solving Operational Blind Spots with AI

Companies managing warehouses, factories, or retail chains often have the hardware in place, but lack clear, actionable insights into their site operations. GREÏ’s platform integrates data from existing cameras and sensors to provide a unified, real-time overview.

CEO and Co-founder Giedrė Rajuncė explains, “Our platform highlights risks, delays, and failures as they happen, enabling teams to respond quickly, reduce errors, and improve overall effectiveness.”

Founded in 2024, GREÏ combines over 14 years of industry experience in security, manufacturing, and scalable B2B software. Co-founder Saulius Tvarijonas brings expertise from his time at cybersecurity firm CUJO AI.

Addressing Costly Visibility Gaps

Operational blind spots and false alerts are common challenges for manufacturing, logistics, and retail operations. Despite numerous cameras and sensors, many businesses struggle to maintain real-time awareness due to overwhelming data and footage.

These gaps carry significant costs. For example, unplanned downtime can cost factories over €100,000 per hour. In the U.K., workplace fatalities and injuries have an estimated economic impact of €25 billion.

GREÏ’s AI platform detects issues such as improperly sorted waste and safety violations, sending targeted alerts to the right teams with clear, actionable insights.

Backing from Experienced Investors

Marijus Andrijauskas, Partner at FIRSTPICK, highlights the importance of GREÏ’s solution: “They’re addressing a critical, overlooked gap in operational intelligence. The team combines deep industry knowledge with strong execution skills. We look forward to seeing their impact across Europe.”

Plans for Growth and Expansion

  • Expand the core team
  • Develop modular AI architecture
  • Onboard early customers
  • Connect over 500 active cameras
  • Launch full platform in 2026

GREÏ is preparing for a Seed round to support international growth and further product innovation. They are seeking investors experienced in enterprise SaaS, industrial technology, or AI infrastructure, especially those with networks in Western Europe, Scandinavia, or Japan.

The company is also building strategic partnerships in security and automation to accelerate cross-border expansion.

For operations professionals interested in AI tools that improve site monitoring and risk detection, GREÏ’s approach offers practical, real-time solutions to reduce downtime and improve safety.
