Luke Bryan Denies AI-Generated Song Amid Fan Backlash
Country music singer Luke Bryan is pushing back against claims that his latest single was created using artificial intelligence. Bryan told NBC4 that speculation surrounding "Fish Hunt Golf Drink," released last month, is "completely false."
"That song was designed for one thing. To have fun and tell the world what I love to do and what I strive to do," Bryan said.
Co-writers Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem created the track without any artificial means, according to statements to Rolling Stone. "It's not rocket science, but it's true to who Luke is," they said.
The song's title references Bryan's personal interests, and the straightforward approach appears designed to sidestep the kind of technical complexity that might invite AI generation questions. For writers and creators, the incident illustrates how audiences now scrutinize content authenticity.
Crash My Playa Lineup Announced
Bryan also announced the full artist roster for his 12th annual Crash My Playa festival, scheduled for January 13-16, 2027, at Moon Palace CancΓΊn in Mexico.
Thomas Rhett and HARDY will headline the four-day event. The lineup also includes Brothers Osborne, Gavin Adcock, Brett Young, Avery Anna, Drew Baldridge, Emily Ann Roberts, Lanie Gardner, and DJ Rock.
The festival will feature Dustin Lynch's Pool Party and a closing-night Luke Bryan and Friends set, both returning traditions for the 100x Hospitality-produced event.
