Malouf Adds AI Agent to Product Development Team
Malouf has integrated an AI agent called Sleep Great Product Technician (GPT) into its product development operations. The agent analyzed trending sleep topics to generate new product concepts, which the company is now preparing to launch.
CEO Sam Malouf said the company has been "blown away" by what the AI created and expects retail partners will respond well to the new options.
Products in Development
SleepGPT is working on three product lines across the company's categories:
- The Anti-Gravity Blanket - Uses magnets to create a floating sensation at bedtime. Requires AAA batteries and carries a warning against use by people with pacemakers.
- S755 BioFeedback Model - An adjustable base featuring an Odor-Processing Unit that detects methane levels and triggers emergency fans when thresholds are crossed. The system syncs with smartwatches to track dietary results.
- Ice Cloud with SafeStop Sleepwalk Deterrent - A premium mattress with built-in bio-scanning technology that gently prevents users from leaving bed when sleep is detected.
