Mave raises $5M to become the trusted AI partner for real estate
January 20, 2026 - Mave, a Toronto-based real estate AI company built for brokers and agents, closed a $5 million seed round to speed up product development and expansion across North America. The round includes Staircase Ventures, with returning investors Relay Ventures, N49P, and Alate Partners.
The funding supports Mave's new AI platform built for brokerage operations-aimed at a future where owners can run their business and brand through one system. For teams focused on growth and consistency, this is about removing manual busywork while keeping every task on-brand and compliant.

Staircase Ventures Founder and Managing Partner Janet Bannister is joining Mave's board. The company is also adding seasoned advisors who understand brokerage operations and growth at scale:

Distribution partners that matter
Mave is partnering with myAbode to integrate its capabilities into an agent and brokerage services platform with a 10,000+ realtor network nationwide. That reach gives brokers a clear path to testing, rollout, and support-without adding another disconnected tool.
Traction from the field
Adoption is strong: 70% of brokers use the platform weekly. Mave is actively onboarding 8,500 realtors and dozens of major Ontario brokerages, including Forest Hill Real Estate, PSR, Right at Home Realty, and many of RE/MAX's major franchise groups.
Another 10,000 agents and 100 brokerages are on the waitlist. The team plans to grow to 25 people this year while expanding across North America.
