Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (MUFG) and its subsidiary MUFG Bank recently announced a strategic partnership with Sakana AI, a company focused on AI research and development. Ren Ito, COO of Sakana AI, has been appointed as MUFG’s AI Advisor to guide the group’s AI initiatives.
This collaboration will extend over more than three years, during which MUFG plans to integrate Sakana AI’s innovative technology to tackle management challenges and improve operational efficiency. The partnership will begin by leveraging Sakana AI’s tool, “The AI Scientist,” to automate document creation processes.
