A key milestone in his tenure was migrating NielsenIQ’s global client base to the Discover platform. This AI-powered environment integrates retail and consumer panel data to deliver real-time insights tailored to client needs. The platform reduces decision-making time from months to hours for over 20,000 clients worldwide.

Kapoor directed a US$1 billion investment in cloud and AI innovation, positioning NielsenIQ as a leading intelligence platform. The company’s ecosystem now processes three trillion transactions weekly and manages data for 220 million consumer products.

He has forged strategic technology partnerships with Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Intel, incorporating generative AI and cloud capabilities into NielsenIQ’s offerings. Kapoor oversees 5,700 data and technology professionals, fostering a culture that prioritises innovation and collaboration.

Beyond NielsenIQ, Kapoor contributes to responsible AI governance and holds board roles focused on digital transformation and risk management. His career includes leadership roles at Accenture, TransUnion, and HSBC, bringing wide-ranging experience to his current position.

In April 2024, he became CEO of Sitecore, driving a strategic shift to a marketer-first approach and integrating generative AI tools for content creation, personalisation, and campaign orchestration.
