MySavant.ai Acquires Savant International to Expand AI-Driven Nearshore Operations
MySavant.ai has acquired Savant International, a Colombia-based nearshore business process outsourcing provider, to integrate AI capabilities into established logistics operations across Latin America. The deal brings together Savant International's decade-long track record managing nearshore teams with MySavant.ai's AI-driven operating model.
Savant International, founded in 2016 by Juan Baena, has supported freight brokers, third-party logistics providers, and transportation companies from offices in Bogotá, Medellín, and Barranquilla. The company built its reputation on operational discipline and the ability to scale teams within traditional nearshore delivery models.
What Changes for Operations Teams
The acquisition introduces real-time visibility and AI-driven automation into Savant International's existing workflows. Operations managers will gain measurable performance data and greater control over nearshore teams rather than relying on periodic status reports.
Hunter Bell, founder and CEO of MySavant.ai, said the shift reflects how nearshoring itself is changing. "It's no longer just about cost, it's about visibility, accountability, and performance at scale," he said.
Baena noted that the combination preserves Savant International's operational foundation while adding AI capabilities. "This acquisition allows us to build on that foundation with AI-driven capabilities and greater visibility, delivering more value to clients as they scale," he said.
The Broader Context
As supply chains grow more complex, logistics organizations increasingly need both scale and control. MySavant.ai's model addresses this by pairing proven nearshore execution with AI-enabled management systems, allowing operations teams to standardize execution across distributed teams and maintain consistent performance.
MySavant.ai maintains additional operations in Guatemala City alongside its expanded Colombia presence, providing access to skilled labor while enabling real-time collaboration with U.S.-based operations.
