The inaugural national congress on artificial intelligence (AI) in natural resources is set to take place at Shiraz University, Fars Province, from September 4–5, 2025. With the theme “intelligent technology, green land, and sustainable future,” this two-day event will concentrate on the challenges and opportunities AI presents in education, research, and its practical applications within agriculture, natural resources, and environmental management.

Funding Boost for AI Development in Iran
In April 2025, a significant step was taken to accelerate AI advancements in the country.
