NetDragon and Thailand MHESI Launch AI-Powered EV Education Platform

NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited, a global leader in internet community development, has partnered with Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) to launch the MHESI Skill platform (www.mhesi-skill.org), an AI-driven education platform focused on electric vehicle (EV) industry skills.

This initiative supports MHESI’s "EV Ready+" program, which offers free, certified training to build a skilled workforce for Thailand’s growing EV sector. The platform provides accessible learning designed to improve career prospects for Thai citizens in this rapidly developing industry.

EV Training Courses Available Free of Charge

The MHESI Skill platform currently offers two foundational courses:

  • Basic Electric Vehicle Technology Course
  • Electric Vehicle Maintenance Course

Additional courses will soon be available, covering:

  • EV System Design and Development
  • EV Infrastructure and Charging Systems
  • EV Business Management

All courses are free and include official e-Certificates from MHESI upon completion, providing learners with recognized credentials to advance their careers.

Blended Learning Model with Practical Training

The program follows a hybrid learning format combining online theory modules with hands-on practical training. The online content is self-paced and accessible through the MHESI Skill platform, while practical sessions take place at partner universities such as Bangkok Thonburi University and King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (Rayong Campus).

MHESI plans to expand practical training locations across Thailand to ensure equitable access for learners nationwide.

Voices from Leadership

Punpermsak Aruni, Assistant Permanent Secretary of MHESI, emphasized Thailand’s position as an emerging EV hub in the Asia-Pacific region. He stated, “To keep pace with this transformation, we must urgently invest in developing high-skilled talent. The 'EV Ready+' project empowers Thai talent with free, advanced knowledge and professional training, strengthening our competitiveness in the global automotive shift.”

Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, highlighted the platform’s role in expanding digital access to technical education in Thailand. He noted, “Our collaboration with MHESI is building a flexible, scalable AI education platform aligned with Thailand’s workforce development goals. By providing certified training in EV technology, we support Thailand’s ambition to become the EV production hub of the Asia-Pacific region while empowering talent with skills needed for success in digital and green economies.”
