NeuBird AI Raises $19.3 Million for Production Operations Agent
NeuBird AI closed an oversubscribed funding round of $19.3 million to expand its autonomous agent platform designed for enterprise production operations. Xora Innovation led the round, with participation from Mayfield, StepStone Group, Prosperity7 Ventures, and M12, Microsoft's venture fund.
The company plans to accelerate product development, expand its sales efforts globally, and make the platform more accessible to DevOps, SRE, and IT operations teams managing complex multi-cloud environments.
What the platform does
NeuBird AI's core product is an autonomous agent that analyzes telemetry data, correlates signals across systems, and provides real-time root cause analysis and remediation recommendations. The goal is to reduce manual troubleshooting, which remains a major drain on engineering resources.
Research cited by the company shows engineers spend roughly 40% of their time managing incidents instead of building products. This contributes to burnout and slows innovation cycles.
Early results
Since the product became generally available in December 2024, NeuBird AI customers have collectively resolved more than 1 million alerts, saved over $2 million in engineering hours, and achieved up to a 90% reduction in mean time to resolution.
The company introduced a next-generation engine called AI Falcon, which expands the agent's capabilities beyond incident response to include predictive risk detection and infrastructure cost optimization. The system is designed to function as a continuous expert, learning and improving across enterprise environments.
Market positioning
NeuBird AI has secured partnerships with AWS and Microsoft, including placement in the AWS Generative AI Competency, the AWS Generative AI Accelerator, and the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program. These affiliations provide access to enterprise customer networks across major cloud providers.
The company is led by co-founder and CEO Gou Rao and co-founder and CTO Vinod Jayaraman, both of whom have previously built and scaled enterprise infrastructure companies. Venkat Ramakrishnan joined as President and COO to support growth.
Why investors are backing this
Investors emphasized the scale of the problem NeuBird is solving. Phil Inagaki, managing partner at Xora Innovation, said the platform has "demonstrated best-in-class results across accuracy, speed and token consumption across complex enterprise systems."
Navin Chaddha at Mayfield noted that the customer ROI the company is delivering signals "they're building something enduring in the production operations agent category."
