NTU Singapore launches eight AI-focused professional courses
Nanyang Technological University in Singapore is introducing eight new AI training programmes in 2026, targeting mid-career professionals seeking to move into AI roles. The courses run between three and six months and sit within the university's SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme.
Two examples are the Advanced Professional Certificate in AI Engineering and the Advanced Professional Certificate in AI-Powered UX Design and Digital Product Strategy.
AI Engineering programme
The AI Engineering certificate prepares professionals for roles like AI Applications Engineer, AI Integration Engineer, or Full-Stack Developer with AI capabilities. Participants learn to apply AI models and build AI-enabled applications, finishing with a capstone project where they design, develop and deploy an AI-powered application.
UX Design and Product Strategy programme
The UX Design programme teaches product discovery, user research, analytics and digital product design. Professionals learn to use data and AI tools to design and prototype digital products. The course concludes with a capstone project that combines research, design and product development work.
Both programmes reflect employer demand for applied AI skills as organisations accelerate digital transformation.
Alumni Learning Day 2026
NTU is also hosting Alumni Learning Day 2026 on the theme "Thrive 360 - Grow, Lead, and Live Well". The event brings together alumni, industry leaders and subject matter experts to discuss career development, leadership and lifelong learning.
