Opsy Holding AB will launch OpsyGO on October 1, an AI service that generates decision-support materials for insurance cases. The tool aims to reduce the administrative load on medical advisors, giving them faster access to well-structured documentation while keeping final authority with human staff.
The service works as a standalone tool or plugs directly into Opsy's existing platform. Its output is designed to strengthen the case file that insurance medical advisors review before reaching a conclusion.
CEO Arne Thor said the solution is intended to streamline case handling, "while the final decision is always made by the case officer." No financial terms were disclosed.
What OpsyGO provides
The AI generates documentation that insurance medical advisors can use to assess claims. By pulling in relevant data and presenting it in a structured format, the service cuts the time spent compiling information manually. This approach fits into broader efforts to use AI for Insurance without automating decisions that require professional judgment.
Decision support, not decision replacement
OpsyGO does not make coverage determinations. It supplies material that supports a case officer's review. That distinction matters in a regulated industry where explainability and accountability are non-negotiable.
Why this matters for insurance professionals
Medical advisors in insurance often juggle high case volumes and complex medical records. A tool that organizes and surfaces key information can reduce manual prep work, letting advisors focus on the analysis that only a qualified professional can perform. With OpsyGO, the promise is faster handling without shifting final responsibility away from the case officer.
