Oracle and NetSuite Launch AI-Powered Restaurant Operations Platform

Oracle and Oracle NetSuite announced Restaurant Operations, a unified back-office system designed to help restaurants manage inventory, scheduling, procurement, and cash flow on a single platform. The solution launches globally within 12 months and will support over 110 countries, 190 currencies, and 27 languages.

Restaurant operators currently juggle multiple disconnected systems to handle inventory, purchasing, and financial tasks. Restaurant Operations consolidates these functions into one interface, giving operators a single source of truth for key performance indicators and trends across locations.

What the Platform Does

The system integrates with Oracle Simphony Cloud and other point-of-sale systems. It provides real-time visibility into operations and uses AI to automate repetitive tasks like inventory analysis and trend identification.

Built on 25 years of Oracle and NetSuite hospitality experience, the platform includes enhanced inventory controls, materials management tools, and embedded AI workflows. The system helps identify patterns in areas such as inventory management and surfaces recommendations to inform decision-making.

Who It's For

Restaurant Operations targets operators of any size, from single-location startups to global franchises. The platform aims to help restaurants increase accuracy, speed, and employee productivity while reducing operational costs.

Alex Alt, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Commercial Cloud Applications, said the solution addresses pressure on hospitality leaders to "drive operational efficiencies and do more with less, while delivering an exceptional customer experience."
