Oracle Launches Agentic Applications for Finance and Supply Chain Operations

Oracle announced 12 new agentic applications Thursday that can make and execute decisions within finance and supply chain workflows. Built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, these systems access unified enterprise data, workflows, policies, and approval hierarchies to autonomously progress routine work.

The applications mark a shift from AI assistance to AI execution. They reason through defined business objectives, execute decisions within established guardrails, and flag exceptions or tradeoffs that require human judgment.

What Operations Teams Get

Finance and supply chain teams spend significant time on manual follow-ups, handoffs, and moving work between systems. These agentic applications reduce that friction by handling routine tasks independently while surfacing decisions where human judgment materially changes the outcome.

The new applications span claims settlement, cost accounting, warehouse operations, production scheduling, sourcing, and sales order management. Oracle says they improve working capital, reduce costs and delays, and allow teams to operate with greater confidence.

The 12 New Applications

  • Claims Settlement Workspace
  • Collectors Workspace
  • Cost Accounting
  • Close Workspace
  • Design-to-Source Workspace: Logistics Execution Command Center
  • Maintenance Operations Workspace
  • Process Manufacturing Workspace
  • Product Readiness Workspace
  • Production Shift Operations Workspace
  • Sales Order Command Center
  • Sourcing Command Center
  • Warehouse Operations Workspace

All 12 applications are available now as part of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing.

What This Means for Operations Professionals

Operations teams will need to understand how these agents work within their existing systems and policies. The applications execute work autonomously, but they operate within human-defined boundaries and escalate decisions that require judgment.
