OSS Lands $6.5M Contract to Boost AI at the Tactical Edge
One Stop Systems (OSS) has secured a $6.5 million contract with a top defense and technology company. The deal involves supplying 80 high-performance servers and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) systems designed for mobile, tactical military environments.
These systems will support a U.S. Department of Defense program focused on collecting sensor data, performing AI-driven real-time analysis, and storing data directly at the tactical edge. This approach enables faster decision-making and improved battlefield intelligence.

This marks the third program win with the same customer in eight months, embedding OSS products into next-generation defense projects centered on edge computing and AI. The contract fits well with OSS’s growth plans and is expected to contribute to revenue in 2025.
OSS President and CEO, Mike Knowles, said the contract reflects a major milestone for the company’s growth strategy and confirms rising demand for enterprise-class compute and storage products built for tactical environments.
He also noted that additional development and platform opportunities with this customer are in progress, which should support further sales growth beyond 2025.
