Head of Communications & Marketing at Rida.ai: Own the story, the docs, and the launches
Rida is an AI-powered logistics startup building DeliveryOS and FieldOS-software + operations that help enterprises run reliable, cost-efficient last-mile and field workflows at scale. We combine route optimisation, dispatch controls, SOP execution, and 24/7 operational support to deliver measurable outcomes.
This role owns how our products are explained, launched, documented, and communicated-internally across teams, and externally to customers, partners, and stakeholders. If you think in systems, write with clarity, and ship fast, keep reading.
What you'll own: Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
- Run end-to-end GTM communications for launches, feature updates, and platform improvements.
- Translate technical features into clear outcomes: reliability, speed, cost, compliance, and visibility.
- Build launch narratives and assets: release notes, customer emails, one-pagers, sales enablement, FAQs, and demos (with product, ops, and commercial).
- Manage external channels and vendors/agencies (social, press, media) for consistent positioning and credibility.
For GTM structure and community insights, see the Product Marketing Alliance.
What you'll own: Product Documentation & Enablement
- Own the documentation strategy across products and platform features-onboarding, changelogs, feature docs, and more.
- Create and maintain technical docs where needed: schemas, workflow references, API docs, and system diagrams. Bridge product and engineering.
- Manage UI/UX designer(s) and ensure clean handoffs from discovery → design → build → launch → documentation.
- Make docs and design outputs drive adoption, supportability, and customer education-no filler, just utility.
Use a proven structure like the Diátaxis documentation framework to keep docs consistent and searchable.
What you'll own: Internal Communications & Alignment
- Drive clarity with sprint summaries, launch briefs, key decisions, operating updates, and cross-team announcements.
- Build scalable documentation standards and tooling, including AI-assisted workflows (retrieval-ready docs, structured templates, and a searchable knowledge base).
- Create a self-serve internal comms layer that reduces operational burden, increases speed, and builds trust.
What success looks like
- Customers understand value in minutes, not meetings.
- Launches ship with crisp narratives and complete enablement.
- Documentation is current, searchable, and used by both customers and the team.
- Internal stakeholders get the right context at the right time, without chasing it.
- External presence signals credibility-press, social, and partner touchpoints are aligned.
Experience and skills
- 2+ years owning or heavily contributing to technical product documentation in SaaS/tech (onboarding guides, changelogs, feature docs, API docs).
- Strong writing and information architecture-clear structure, zero fluff.
- Comfortable working with engineers and PMs to understand systems, workflows, and constraints.
- Hands-on with documentation tools (Notion, Confluence, GitBook, Docusaurus) and diagramming tools (Whimsical, Figma, Miro, Lucidchart).
- Bonus: product marketing, GTM launches, external comms, and vendor/agency management.

Traits that matter here
- High ownership and speed-you execute end-to-end and close loops.
- Strong judgment-simplify without losing accuracy.
- Systems thinker-build scalable workflows, not one-off artifacts.

- High-impact scope: Work directly with leadership on positioning, adoption, and scale.
- Fast growth: Real responsibility, fast learning, and advancement based on outcomes.
- Competitive package: Market-aligned salary, benefits, and performance bonuses.
- AI + ops frontier: Build where software meets real-world performance.
Who will thrive in this seat
- Marketers who can write, teach, and sell-often in the same day.
- Operators who enjoy process design as much as messaging.
- Generalists who partner well with engineering and design and turn ambiguity into clear assets.
