Government Launches AI Product Development Training for PhD Scholars in Pakistan
The Pakistani government has introduced a fully-funded certification program focused on Artificial Intelligence and engineering product development. This initiative is delivered through the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and targets PhD and post-doctoral STEM researchers across the country.
Implemented in partnership with Obsidian Technologies and AI Advanced Industries, the program aims to connect academic research with practical, market-driven innovation.
About the Program
Called the AI-Driven Enterprise Product Online Training and Development Program, it features a three-month online course titled Innovation-Driven Product Development Using AI. This course is taught by Stanford University faculty through its Engineering Center for Global and Online Education (CGOE).
The training is sponsored by the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) and NAVTTC. It includes local mentoring, peer learning opportunities, and sessions led by industry experts to provide comprehensive support for participants.
