Pioneer AI Foundry hits MCP cloud execution milestone, updates digital asset treasury and venture positions

Pioneer AI Foundry Inc. (Cboe Canada: JPEG; FSE: 6NU0) shared progress on its Kora AI Agent platform, internal MCP cloud execution testing, and the company's digital asset treasury and venture equity positions. For engineering teams, the headline is clear: Kora's agent stack is moving from local prototypes to controlled cloud execution with standards-based tool access.

"Our recent milestones in Kora's cloud execution and digital asset management reflect steady, deliberate progress across our technology and treasury strategies. We remain focused on disciplined execution as we advance our roadmap," said Darcy Taylor, CEO.

Kora's MCP cloud execution: what's working under test

Kora completed an internal development milestone to execute its Model Context Protocol (MCP) framework in a controlled cloud environment. MCP standardizes secure communication between AI agents and external tools, which is essential for scaling beyond a single node or workstation.

  • Cloud execution of complex, compute-heavy agent tasks (e.g., large dataset analysis, simulations) without relying on local resources.
  • Workload testing for consistency and availability under varying demand.
  • Refined resource allocation and extended monitoring for operational visibility.
  • Improved disaster recovery processes.
  • Data handling aligned to regional requirements and regulatory expectations.

All capabilities above are implemented in limited internal testing and currently undergoing validation.

If you're building agent-tool integrations, MCP is worth a look. See the protocol's docs at modelcontextprotocol.io.

Strategic venture equity layer

Satsuma Technology PLC (SATS)

Satsuma's unaudited interim results (1 March-31 August 2025) reported: a £169M raise via convertible loan notes, 1,153 BTC in treasury, £60.6M in cash, increased utilization of its Tao subnet operations, and the exercise of over 73M warrants.

On December 11, the company announced proposed board changes: Ranald McGregor Smith (Chair) and Clive Carver (Senior Independent Director), both with deep UK PLC and capital markets experience. On December 19, Satsuma's ordinary shares were admitted to the Equity Shares (Commercial Companies) category of the FCA Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Strategy highlights: develop Bitcoin-based revenue lines (including Bitcoin staking and decentralized AI operations) to complement a treasury policy that holds Bitcoin as the primary reserve asset. The company stated it holds approximately £90M in cash to meet remaining loan note repayments and expects to retain cash and Bitcoin after settlement.

Pioneer holds 20,000,000 SATS shares (~0.23%). Satsuma remains one of the largest UK-listed corporate Bitcoin treasuries (bitcointreasuries.net).

Cykel AI PLC (CYK)

For the six months to July 31, 2025, Cykel reported progress moving from product development into early commercial activity: public launch of "Lucy" (recruitment agent) in March and "Eve" (sales agent) in June. The company announced a conditional £2.8M strategic fundraise via pre-paid warrants.

Additional updates included planned capital structure changes, a treasury policy shift with increased emphasis on Solana, and leadership changes with Michael Chan appointed CEO (previously Managing Counsel and Global Head of Corporate Legal at Binance). Pioneer holds 120,570 CYK shares (~0.28%).

Direct digital asset treasury

  • Current holdings: 5.03 BTC and 1,321.07 SOL (majority staked), combined value ~CAD $0.9M.
  • Last reported (Oct 29): 4.33 BTC and 1,987 SOL, combined value ~CAD $1.28M.
  • Rates sourced from Coinbase, Netcoins, and Coinsquare as of Nov 30, 2025, 5:00 p.m. UTC.

Pioneer continues disciplined accumulation of Bitcoin while actively managing Solana positions through Kora AI's signal-based automation engine.

Why this matters for engineering and DevOps teams

  • Standardized agent-to-tool communication (via MCP) lowers integration overhead and supports cleaner service boundaries.
  • Cloud execution opens the door to distributed processing and heavier workloads without local bottlenecks.
  • Operational work signals attention to production readiness: observability, failover, and regional data requirements.
  • Treasury updates show how the company funds and hedges its agent platform roadmap across BTC and SOL exposure.

What to watch next

  • Validation of MCP components beyond internal testing and signals of broader rollout.
  • Details on workload orchestration, access controls, and audit trails for enterprise deployments.
  • Further clarity on Kora's public beta timelines and developer onboarding.
  • Venture catalysts from Satsuma's Main Market admission and Cykel's commercial agents.
