Powerplay Launches AI Workforce Platform for Construction
Powerplay has released an AI Workforce platform designed to automate core construction workflows. The system deploys five domain-trained AI agents across estimation, procurement, finance and project management.
Early deployments show estimation timelines compressed from weeks to minutes. Productivity gains across key processes reach 50-60 per cent.
The platform trains on data from over 85,000 construction projects executed through Powerplay's software. It pulls patterns from bills of quantities, procurement cycles, billing workflows and compliance records to standardise how work gets done.

The system operates with human oversight. AI outputs are reviewed before decisions are made, with accuracy reaching up to 99 per cent.
Iesh Dixit, founder and CEO, said construction has long operated with a shortage of specialized expertise. "Estimation engineers, procurement coordinators - these roles are hard to fill. What we're seeing globally is vertical AI trained on real workflows. Construction, with its fragmented processes and reliance on manual coordination, is one of the most important places for that shift."
Powerplay plans to expand the platform across the full project lifecycle. The company is targeting contractors, infrastructure developers and project firms looking to improve cost control, timelines and execution predictability.
