Riplo raises £2.3M to build AI operating system for consulting
Riplo, a London-based startup, has raised £2.3 million in pre-seed funding to develop an operating system that integrates AI agents directly into consulting workflows. Cherry Ventures led the round, joined by Blue Lion Capital, the founders of QuantumBlack, and technology and professional services angels.
The consulting industry still relies on tools designed for manual, human-only processes. While AI has reshaped other knowledge-intensive fields, consultants typically work within legacy systems that don't support real-time collaboration between people and AI agents.
Riplo's platform centers on an agent-first interface. AI agents work alongside consultants to structure analyses, draft outputs, and iterate on workstreams in a single environment.
The founding team-Tobias Haefele, Oliver Scott, and Zack Zornitta-previously built AI-native products and advisory projects. Haefele, now CEO, said: "The $1 trillion consulting industry is currently running on the digital equivalent of a typewriter. We are building the interface where the next generation of strategic analyses takes place, enabling humans and AI agents to work together in real time."
The company will use the funding to expand its engineering team, deepen work with design partners, and build out the platform's capabilities.
For product managers evaluating AI tools for knowledge work, understanding how AI agents handle workflow automation is increasingly relevant. Those in consulting specifically may find the AI Learning Path for Management Consultants useful for assessing how these systems fit into existing practices.
