SAP is offering all partners free access to SAP Build test, demo, and development (TDD) licenses. This move aims to help partners create AI-driven innovations and deliver new solutions to customers with minimal upfront costs. SAP Build provides a versatile set of low-code, code-first, and generative AI tools to develop custom Joule skills and agents, applications, automations, and digital workspaces.
With these licenses, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) can build, test, and deploy applications or proofs of concept more efficiently. Plus, these solutions can be listed on SAP Store, giving partners exposure to SAP’s global customer network.
Free TDD Licenses for SAP Partners: What’s Included
- Full access to all SAP Build capabilities, including developer, base and premium user licenses, runtime, Joule Studio, and ABAP Cloud
- Access to SAP HANA Cloud, a multi-model database that supports retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications and serves as a persistent layer for SAP Build projects
- Additional SAP BTP services like generative AI hub, logging services, cloud identity, and more
Additionally, the SAP Joule for Developers add-on remains free for customers and partners as part of an ongoing promotion.
Accelerate AI Innovation with SAP Build
SAP Build simplifies AI integration into applications. Using a developer license, partners can utilize Joule Studio’s drag-and-drop interface to build and enhance Joule skills. Soon, the agent builder feature will allow the creation and deployment of custom AI agents.
These AI agents will leverage the SAP Knowledge Graph for in-depth business insights and SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC) for seamless data access across SAP and non-SAP systems. AI Foundation acts as a centralized platform, providing generative AI Hub access, prompt management, data masking, and other tools, enabling partners to innovate securely and confidently.
Upcoming Enhancements to SAP Build
Looking ahead, SAP plans to integrate SAP Build with SAP BDC in the second half of 2025. This integration will enable developers to easily connect with SAP BDC data products. By early 2026, partners will be able to develop intelligent applications and data products compatible with SAP Business Data Cloud.
