SBI Life Insurance recently hosted Hack-AI-Thon 2025, an AI competition that connected over 50 participants from leading institutes across India. The event attracted more than 16 teams of developers and AI enthusiasts from cities such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Bhopal, and Delhi.
The challenge focused on applying AI to solve operational and customer-centric issues in life insurance. Participants spent several weeks developing proposals in areas like predictive analytics, fraud detection, customer engagement, and process automation.
Evaluation and Winners
The final round involved presentations judged by experts from the insurance and technology sectors. Teams were assessed on innovation, feasibility, scalability, and potential impact.
