Searchable raises £10.3m to help brands compete in AI-driven search
Searchable, a London-based startup launched in January, has secured £10.3m in funding to expand its platform that tracks and improves how brands appear across ChatGPT and other AI search engines. Venture capital firm Headline led the round.
The platform functions as a command centre for marketers. It monitors visibility across ten AI engines, surfaces insights through interactive agents, and integrates data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console to drive traffic growth.
Searchable plans to use the capital to accelerate product development and expand in the US and UK markets.
Why this matters for marketers
AI-powered search is fundamentally changing how customers discover brands. Chris Donnelly, Searchable's founder, said customers arriving from ChatGPT and large language models convert at 3x higher rates than those from other channels.
"When an AI assistant recommends your brand, customers arrive with more intent, more trust and a shorter path to purchase," Donnelly said. "If you aren't visible in those answers, you're giving ground to competitors every day."
Headline's portfolio includes Bumble, Farfetch, Goop and Sonos, signalling confidence in AI for Marketing as a category.
